Schedule:
  • Full-Time.
  • Travel required throughout the Pennsylvania territory.
  • Regular travel between supported practices.
  • Occasional travel to corporate headquarters for executive leadership meetings.

Position Summary
We are seeking an accomplished and strategic Vice President of Operations to oversee and support a growing network of dental practices throughout Pennsylvania. This executive leadership position is responsible for driving operational excellence, developing high-performing teams, and ensuring exceptional patient experiences across multiple locations.

The Vice President of Operations will work closely with executive leadership to develop and execute organizational strategy while providing operational oversight to regional leaders, practice managers, and support teams. This role is ideal for an experienced dental operations executive who thrives in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment and has a proven ability to scale operations while maintaining exceptional standards of care.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership:
  • Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with organizational goals and long-term growth initiatives.
  • Partner with executive leadership to establish and implement strategic objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for operational improvement, scalability, and efficiency enhancement.
  • Drive organizational initiatives that improve patient experience, team engagement, and financial performance.
Operational Management:
  • Provide leadership and oversight across multiple dental practices and operational departments.
  • Establish and maintain operational standards, policies, and best practices.
  • Optimize scheduling, patient flow, staffing models, and resource utilization.
  • Implement and maintain standard operating procedures to improve consistency and efficiency.
  • Monitor operational performance through KPIs, dashboards, and performance metrics.
Team Leadership & Development:
  • Lead, mentor, and develop Regional Managers, Practice Managers, and operational leaders.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Assist with recruiting, retention, and succession planning initiatives.
  • Develop leadership training programs and professional growth opportunities for operational teams.
  • Build strong partnerships between clinical and administrative leadership.
Financial & Business Performance:
  • Analyze operational and financial reports to identify growth opportunities and operational challenges.
  • Partner with Revenue Cycle and Practice Leadership teams to maximize collections and profitability.
  • Monitor practice-level performance metrics, budgets, and operational efficiencies.
  • Drive initiatives that improve revenue growth while maintaining exceptional patient care standards.
Compliance & Risk Management:
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and industry regulations.
  • Monitor operational risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Maintain quality assurance programs and operational standards.
  • Support business continuity planning and organizational preparedness initiatives.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Operations Management, or a related field required.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 5+ years of multi-site dental operations leadership experience required.
  • Previous DSO or large group practice leadership experience strongly preferred.
  • Proven success leading high-performing operational teams across multiple locations.
  • Strong knowledge of dental practice operations, scheduling, patient flow, billing, collections, and insurance processes.
  • Demonstrated experience managing operational and financial performance metrics.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to travel extensively throughout assigned territory.
