Removable Dental Technician
Location: Calgary, Alberta
Compensation: $25–$35 per hour
Schedule: Full-time, on-site
Overview
Our dental laboratory is seeking an experienced Removable Dental Technician to join our team in Calgary, Alberta. This role requires a strong technical background in removable prosthetics, including full dentures and partials, along with the ability to support quality control and communicate effectively with doctors regarding cases.
The ideal candidate will have a solid analog removable foundation and also be comfortable working within the digital dental arena, including experience with 3Shape and/or Exocad.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fabricate and support removable prosthetics, including full dentures, partial dentures, and related removable appliances
- Review and evaluate cases for accuracy, quality, fit, function, and esthetics
- Communicate with doctors regarding case details, technical questions, and quality expectations
- Perform quality control checks on partials and full dentures before final delivery
- Support wax setups, try-ins, adjustments, finishing, and processing as needed
- Work collaboratively with the team to maintain a consistent workflow and high-quality standards
- Assist with digital workflows involving 3Shape and/or Exocad when required
- Identify case issues early and help provide practical technical solutions
Qualifications:
- Strong technical background in removable dental technology
- Experience with full dentures and partial dentures required
- Ability to communicate professionally with doctors and internal team members
- Quality control experience or strong attention to case accuracy and final results
- Digital dental experience required or strongly preferred
- Experience with 3Shape and/or Exocad preferred
- Strong understanding of analog removable techniques
- Detail-oriented, dependable, and able to work in a full-time, on-site environment
- Team-focused with a commitment to quality, consistency, and patient outcomes
Compensation & Benefits:
- $25–$30 per hour, depending on experience

Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate is a hands-on removable technician with strong experience in dentures and partials, comfortable speaking with doctors, and capable of helping maintain high-quality standards. Someone with both traditional removable skills and digital experience with 3Shape or Exocad would be an excellent fit.
