Registered Dental Hygienist – Lexington, SC.
Location: Lexington, SC.
Position Type: Full-Time.
Schedule: Monday–Friday.
- Monday–Thursday: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.
- Friday: 8:00 AM–1:00 PM.
Compensation:
- $42–$48/hour, based on experience.
- 0–1 Year of Experience: $42/hour.
- 2–5 Years of Experience: Approximately $45/hour.
- Experienced Hygienists: Up to $48/hour, with some flexibility for highly qualified candidates.
- Annualized Compensation: Approximately $85,176–$97,344, based on a 39-hour paid workweek (assuming a one-hour unpaid lunch Monday–Thursday).
Position Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate, motivated Registered Dental Hygienist to join our established dental practice in Lexington, South Carolina.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hygienist who enjoys developing long-term patient relationships, providing high-quality preventive care, and working alongside a collaborative dental team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive preventive and periodontal hygiene care.
- Perform dental prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planing, and other hygiene procedures within the scope of practice.
- Conduct periodontal assessments and oral cancer screenings.
- Take diagnostic radiographs as clinically indicated.
- Educate patients regarding oral hygiene, periodontal health, and preventive care.
- Review and update patient medical and dental histories.
- Maintain accurate and thorough clinical documentation.
- Collaborate with doctors and clinical team members regarding patient treatment needs.
- Follow appropriate infection control and clinical safety standards.
- Create a comfortable, welcoming experience for every patient.
Qualifications:
- Active South Carolina Registered Dental Hygienist license or eligibility to obtain licensure.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Strong communication and patient education skills.
- Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a clinical team.
- Professional, dependable, and detail-oriented.
