Our client is seeking a friendly, compassionate General Dentist to join a growing, pediatric-focused dental practice in Bakersfield, California. This is an excellent opportunity for a dentist who enjoys working with children or is interested in developing their skills in pediatric dentistry within a supportive, family-friendly environment.
Both full-time and part-time candidates are welcome, and new graduates are encouraged to apply! Previous experience treating children is a plus, but it is not required. If you're patient-focused, approachable, and excited to help young patients build healthy smiles, this could be a great fit.

Schedule Options:
Full-Time:
- Monday–Friday.
- 9:00 AM–5:30 PM.
Part-Time:
- Flexible scheduling.
- Ideally Monday–Tuesday or Thursday–Friday.
- 9:00 AM–5:30 PM on scheduled days.
Clinical Focus
The doctor will primarily provide general dental care for pediatric patients in a child-friendly setting. Specialty procedures are referred out, allowing you to focus on pediatric general dentistry.
The practice refers out:
- Implants.
- Periodontics.
- Oral surgery.
- Endodontics.
- Orthodontics.
Practice Details:
- Team: Six current team members, with additional hiring underway.
- Clinical Support: Rotating dental assistants for chairside assistance.
- Treatment Space: Four treatment rooms and six open-bay hygiene chairs.
- Practice Management Software: Open Dental.
- Patient Base: Primarily Medi-Cal, with some PPO patients; no HMO.
