Full-Time or Part-Time Opportunity
A well-established pediatric-focused dental office in Bakersfield, CA is seeking a friendly, patient-centered General Dentist to join our growing team. This position is open to both full-time and part-time candidates, and new graduates with an interest in pediatrics are encouraged to apply.

Our ideal candidate is open to working in a pediatric environment—previous experience with children is a plus, but not required. You will be supported by a rotating team of assistants, ensuring you always have help chairside.
Compensation Structure
- Daily Base: $800–$900/day to start (flexible depending on experience)
- Compensation Model: Begin on a daily base, then transition to percentage of production after an initial period
Insurance & Payor Mix
- Majority Medi-Cal (state insurance)
- Some PPO accepted
- No HMO
Schedule
Open to Full-Time or Part-Time
- Full-Time: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM
- Part-Time: Flexible, ideally Monday–Tuesday or Thursday–Friday (same hours)
Clinical Scope
The doctor will focus on pediatric general dentistry. The following procedures are referred out:
- Implants
- Periodontics
- Oral Surgery
- Endodontics
- Orthodontics
Office Information
- Team: 6 team members currently (actively hiring additional staff)
- Assistants: Rotating assistants—doctor will never work without support
- Operatories:
- 4 treatment rooms
- 6 open-bay hygiene chairs
- Technology: Open Dental EHR; limited specialty equipment due to the nature of pediatric care
