Lead Partial Denture Technician / Co-Lead
Compensation: $125,000–$150,000 per year, based on experience.
Benefits: Full benefits package plus monthly performance bonuses.
Employment Type: Full-time, on-site.
About the Opportunity:
We are actively seeking an experienced Partial Denture Technician to lead or co-lead a boutique-sized removable department. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled technician—or dentist with relevant hands-on technical experience—who takes pride in producing complex, high-quality removable restorations.
The department operates with a quality-over-volume philosophy and consists of a small team of four people, including the person hired for this position. The ideal candidate will combine strong partial denture expertise with the leadership, organization, and communication skills needed to guide the team and support customers with technical and case-design questions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead or co-lead the partial denture department.
- Organize daily production and maintain an efficient workflow.
- Produce and oversee complex, high-quality partial denture cases.
- Review case designs and provide technical guidance to the team.
- Ensure cases meet the laboratory’s standards for quality, fit, function, and esthetics.
- Train and cross-train technicians to strengthen the department’s capabilities.
- Troubleshoot technical and design-related challenges.
- Communicate effectively with doctors and customers regarding case planning and design.
- Provide responsive, professional customer service.
- Help maintain a collaborative, well-organized, and accountable department.
Casework May Include:
- Precision attachments.
- Locator overdentures.
- Bar partials.
- MK-1 bars.
- Treatment partials.
- Hybrid restorations.
- Other complex removable and implant-supported cases.
Qualifications:
- Strong hands-on experience with partial dentures is required.
- Advanced knowledge of partial denture design, fabrication, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with complex removable and implant-supported restorations.
- Analog and digital experience is preferred, but not required.
- Previous leadership, supervisory, training, or mentoring experience is strongly preferred.
- Ability to organize production and manage priorities within a small department.
- Strong technical judgment and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to clearly answer technical and case-design questions.
- Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
- Consistent commitment to quality and attention to detail.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Base salary of $125,000–$150,000, depending on skills and experience.
- Full benefits package.
- Additional monthly bonuses based on the successful organization and performance of the department.
- Opportunity to lead or co-lead a small, quality-focused team.
- Stable, collaborative working environment with an emphasis on craftsmanship rather than high-volume production.
