About the Opportunity
Our client is seeking an experienced Office Manager / Treatment Coordinator to join their growing dental practice. This is not a traditional administrative Office Manager position. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with exceptional treatment coordination skills who can help drive practice growth, improve case acceptance, optimize operations, and lead the team with accountability and professionalism.
This role is ideal for someone who understands both the business and clinical sides of dentistry and can confidently guide patients through treatment recommendations, insurance benefits, and financial arrangements while supporting overall practice performance.
About the Practice
Our client is a thriving two-doctor comprehensive dental practice currently producing approximately $1.2 million annually, with goals to grow to $1.5 million and beyond. The practice offers a wide range of services including:
General Dentistry
Emergency Dental Care
Dental Implants
Bone Grafting
Dentures
Orthodontics
Endodontics
Sedation Dentistry
The office utilizes advanced technology, including CBCT imaging and intraoral scanning, and performs many procedures in-house to provide comprehensive patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Lead treatment coordination efforts to increase case acceptance and patient follow-through
Present treatment plans and educate patients on recommended care
Verify insurance benefits and explain coverage accurately and confidently
Discuss financing options and payment solutions with patients
Customize treatment presentations based on insurance coverage, financial circumstances, and scheduling considerations
Optimize provider schedules and maximize productive chair time
Conduct and support effective morning huddles and production-focused daily management
Monitor office performance metrics and help drive production growth
Foster a culture of accountability, professionalism, and exceptional customer service
Support patient retention initiatives and reduce unscheduled treatment
Work closely with doctors and team members to improve operational efficiency
Qualifications
Required
Strong Treatment Coordinator experience (highest priority)
Extensive knowledge of dental insurance verification, benefits, and pre-authorizations
Dentrix proficiency
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Proven leadership abilities and experience holding team members accountable
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Goal-oriented, proactive mindset with a strong work ethic
Ability to manage schedules strategically and maximize productivity

Preferred
Previous Office Manager experience in a dental practice (5 plus years)
Experience managing a practice producing $1.5 million or more annually
Demonstrated success improving case acceptance and production
Billing experience
Spanish-speaking ability (highly valued but not required)
