General Dentist – Eastern North Carolina (Mobile Community Clinic)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and patient-focused General Dentist to join our mobile community dental team serving rural communities throughout Eastern North Carolina. This is a unique and highly rewarding opportunity for a provider who is passionate about expanding access to care and making a meaningful impact in underserved communities.
This role is centered around giving back—providing essential dental care to predominantly pediatric and underserved patient populations who may otherwise go without treatment. You will travel throughout Eastern North Carolina, delivering care directly to communities in need, helping improve oral health outcomes and overall quality of life for children and families.

Our fully equipped mobile dental clinic is designed to deliver high-quality care in a convenient and accessible setting. The unit features modern technology and multiple operatories, allowing providers to practice efficiently while focusing on patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive dental care in a mobile clinic setting
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care to pediatric and underserved populations
- Perform exams, restorative procedures, preventive care, and simple extractions
- Educate patients and families on oral health and preventive practices
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Collaborate with support staff and community partners to ensure seamless care delivery
Minimum Qualifications:
- DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school
- Active dental license in North Carolina (or ability to obtain)
- Current CPR certification
Experience Requirements:
- Experience working with pediatric patients strongly preferred
- Comfort working in a mobile or community-based care setting
