Position Overview
This role supports a high-end, patient-centered dental organization focused on comprehensive, relationship-based care. The Director of Operations partners closely with the Founder to lead day-to-day operations, translate vision into execution, and ensure a consistent, elevated experience for both patients and team members across multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership:
  • Oversee daily operations across multiple practice locations.
  • Develop and implement workflows, systems, and protocols to improve efficiency.
  • Monitor scheduling flow, staffing levels, and patient pathways.
  • Ensure treatment rooms, equipment, and clinical flow are optimized.
Strategic Execution:
  • Partner closely with the Founder to turn vision into actionable plans.
  • Create timelines, processes, and accountability for initiatives.
  • Maintain momentum and follow-through across departments.
  • Filter and prioritize requests to protect executive focus.
Team Leadership & Culture:
  • Lead and support team members with clarity, fairness, and consistency.
  • Conduct regular team check-ins and performance reviews.
  • Provide coaching, conflict resolution, and accountability.
  • Foster a culture centered on excellence, warmth, and patient care.
Patient Experience:
  • Ensure a premium, attentive, and consistent patient experience.
  • Oversee front-desk communication, concierge interactions, and follow-up.
  • Address patient concerns and escalations calmly and efficiently.
  • Maintain service standards aligned with a high-touch care model.
Systems & Quality Control:
  • Build and refine systems for scheduling, communication, and follow-up.
  • Track operational KPIs including case acceptance, cancellations, revenue flow, and team efficiency.
  • Maintain compliance, documentation, and safety standards.
  • Manage inventory, supplies, and vendor relationships.
Projects & Partnerships:
  • Support execution of internal initiatives and special programs.
  • Coordinate logistics for visiting providers, continuing education, and events.
  • Assist with cross-brand or partnership initiatives when applicable.

Qualifications:
Required:
  • 5+ years of operations leadership experience in healthcare, dental, wellness, medical, hospitality, or related environments.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Exceptional communication and team leadership abilities.
  • Calm, steady presence in fast-paced settings.
  • High integrity, professionalism, and emotional intelligence.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities without sacrificing quality.
Preferred:
  • Experience in integrative, biologic, or whole-health environments.
  • Background in high-end or concierge-style practices.
  • Multi-location operational leadership experience.
  • Comfort working directly with a visionary founder or executive leader.
