Location: San Antonio, TX.
Status: Full-Time (On-Site Required).
Compensation & Benefits:
  • Base Salary: $80,000 – $85,000.
  • Performance-Based Incentives: Total compensation potential $100,000 – $120,000+.

Position Summary:
We are seeking a results-driven Director of Operations to oversee a growing specialty dental organization across the San Antonio market. This role is responsible for leading operations across 12 specialty-focused locations, including oral surgery, pediatric dentistry, and orthodontics.

The Director of Operations will play a critical role in driving operational excellence, improving financial performance, and building strong, accountable teams. This individual must be highly skilled in managing to a P&L, implementing efficiencies, and executing strategies that increase both EBITDA and top-line revenue.
This is an on-site leadership role requiring a strong presence in the San Antonio market.

Key Responsibilities:
Multi-Site Operational Leadership:
  • Oversee daily operations across 12 specialty dental locations.
  • Ensure consistency in workflows, patient experience, and operational execution.
  • Standardize processes across oral surgery, pediatric dentistry, and orthodontic practices.

Financial Performance & P&L Management:
  • Manage and analyze P&Ls across all locations.
  • Drive improvements in revenue, profitability, and operational efficiency.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce costs while maintaining high-quality care.

Growth & EBITDA Optimization:
  • Implement systems and operational efficiencies to drive same-store growth.
  • Increase production, collections, and case acceptance across specialty practices.
  • Develop and execute strategies to improve EBITDA performance.

Leadership & Team Development:
  • Lead, coach, and develop Office Managers and regional leadership teams.
  • Establish accountability metrics and performance expectations.
  • Build a strong, performance-driven culture across all locations.

Patient Experience & Operational Excellence:
  • Ensure a high-quality patient experience across all specialty services.
  • Improve scheduling efficiency and patient flow.
  • Support clinical teams with operational resources needed for success.

Strategic Execution:
  • Partner with executive leadership to execute growth initiatives.
  • Support expansion efforts, including new locations or service line growth.
  • Implement scalable systems and best practices across the organization.

Qualifications:
  • 5–10+ years of multi-location healthcare operations experience required.
  • Prior dental experience strongly preferred (specialty experience a plus).
  • Proven ability to manage and improve P&L performance.
  • Demonstrated success implementing operational efficiencies that drive growth.
  • Experience leading multi-site teams and developing leaders.
  • Strong understanding of KPIs, patient flow, and revenue cycle management.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
  • Must be based in or willing to relocate to the San Antonio area.
