Lead Denture Technician
Department: Removables.
Reports to: Production Supervisor.
Status: Non-exempt.
We are seeking an experienced denture technician to help lead daily workflow while remaining active in production. This person will support other technicians, oversee quality, and help ensure cases are completed on time.
Responsibilities:
- Prioritize and distribute cases based on due dates, complexity, and technician skills.
- Produce complete and partial dentures, including setups, waxing, processing, finishing, relines, and repairs.
- Review work for quality and troubleshoot challenging cases.
- Train and coach technicians, including new team members.
- Identify production delays and recurring quality issues, and work with the Production Supervisor to resolve them.
- Communicate with Customer Service and other departments on case questions when needed.
Qualifications:
- At least five years of removable dental laboratory experience preferred.
- Strong hands-on skills in complete and partial denture fabrication.
- Ability to guide technicians, organize workflow, and solve technical problems.
- Leadership or mentoring experience preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; formal dental laboratory training preferred.
