About the Job
Denture Technician / Lead Removable Technician
Location: South Jersey, approximately 20 minutes from Philadelphia.
Employment Type: Full-Time | On-site.
Compensation: Target range of $30–$32 per hour, based on experience; open for the right candidate.

About the Laboratory:
A small, established full-service dental laboratory in South Jersey is seeking an experienced Denture Technician / Lead Removable Technician to join its team.

This is a hands-on role for a technician who can confidently take denture cases from start to finish with minimal supervision. The laboratory has a close-knit team environment and is looking for someone who can step into a key role within the removable department.

The ideal candidate will have strong traditional analog denture skills and the ability to manage the denture workflow independently. Digital denture experience is a plus, but not required.

About the Role:
  • The Denture Technician will be responsible for handling start-to-finish denture production, including setups, processing, finishing, repairs, and related removable work.
  • This person will serve as the primary denture technician within the lab. While there are other team members who can assist with certain steps such as custom trays, bite blocks, and some repairs, the new hire must be able to independently complete full denture cases and support the department’s daily production needs.
  • The lab currently has digital denture equipment available, but most denture work is still completed using traditional analog methods. A technician with digital denture knowledge would be welcomed and could help guide the lab as it expands that workflow, but the top priority is strong start-to-finish analog denture experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Fabricate full and partial dentures from start to finish.
  • Perform denture setups, processing, finishing, and polishing.
  • Complete denture repairs, relines, tooth additions, and related removable work.
  • Read and interpret prescriptions, models, and case instructions.
  • Ensure proper occlusion, fit, function, and esthetics.
  • Manage daily denture workflow with minimal supervision.
  • Coordinate with other technicians and support staff to keep cases moving efficiently.
  • Perform same-day denture repairs when needed.
  • Work with patients in the lab setting for repairs or adjustments when required.
  • Assist with expanding removable services, including chairside conversions, if experienced.
  • Maintain quality standards and ensure completed work meets clinical expectations.
  • Keep an organized, clean, and efficient workstation.

Qualifications:
  • Strong experience as a denture technician in a dental laboratory setting.
  • Ability to complete dentures from start to finish independently.
  • Strong analog denture skills required.
  • Experience with denture setups, processing, finishing, polishing, and repairs.
  • Ability to perform relines, repairs, tooth additions, and related removable procedures.
  • Experience with partial dentures is preferred.
  • Digital denture experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Chairside conversion experience is a plus.
  • Comfortable working in a small team environment.
  • Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently without extensive training.
  • Reliable, team-oriented, and looking for a stable long-term opportunity.

Work Environment:
This is a small, team-oriented dental laboratory where each team member plays an important role in daily production. The lab is looking for someone dependable, experienced, and comfortable taking ownership of the denture department.
The ideal candidate does not need heavy supervision and can help maintain consistent removable production while working collaboratively with the rest of the lab team.

Schedule:
This is a full-time position. The lab values stability and does not reduce hours during slower periods. During slower seasons, technicians may occasionally finish early while still maintaining full-time compensation, depending on workload and production needs.

Compensation and Benefits:
  • Target compensation range: $30–$32 per hour, based on experience.
  • Open to discussing compensation for the right candidate.
  • Two weeks of paid vacation.
  • Stable full-time opportunity.
  • Small, supportive lab environment.
  • Opportunity to take ownership of the removable department.
  • Additional benefits may be discussed as part of the overall compensation package.
