A modern, digitally driven dental laboratory in North York is seeking an experienced Digital Surgical Guide Designer / Dental Technician to support its growing digital department. The lab is known for high-quality work, efficiency, and strong collaboration across departments, with a continued focus on advanced implant and guided surgery workflows.
Position Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Dental Technician with experience in digital surgical guide design and CoDiagnostiX software. This individual will play a key role in planning and designing surgical guides for implant cases while collaborating closely with the team to ensure accuracy, functionality, and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design digital surgical guides for implant cases using CoDiagnostiX
- Review prescriptions, scans, and case information for accuracy and completeness
- Support treatment planning and guided surgery workflows in collaboration with the team
- Ensure surgical guides are designed to meet clinical and technical requirements
- Communicate with internal departments regarding case details, timelines, and adjustments
- Maintain consistency, precision, and efficiency across all assigned cases
- Assist with digital workflow improvements as the department continues to grow
Requirements:
- Minimum 2β3+ years of dental laboratory experience, ideally with digital workflows
- Hands-on experience designing surgical guides
- Proficiency with CoDiagnostiX software is strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of implant dentistry, dental anatomy, and guided surgery concepts
- Ability to read prescriptions and interpret scans accurately
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environment
