Job Overview
A growing dental laboratory is seeking an experienced Dental CAD/CAM Manager to lead and support its digital design team.
This role is ideal for a strong CAD/CAM professional who combines advanced technical knowledge with leadership, organization, and the ability to guide a team in a fast-paced dental lab environment. The right candidate will oversee digital design workflows, support quality standards, troubleshoot technical issues, and help improve efficiency across the department.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead, support, and mentor CAD/CAM designers and digital team members
- Help manage daily workflow, case assignments, scheduling, and production priorities
- Review digital designs for accuracy, function, fit, and overall quality
- Ensure cases meet internal quality standards and doctor/customer expectations
- Support complex case planning and provide technical guidance to the team
- Help improve CAD/CAM procedures, workflow consistency, and department efficiency
- Troubleshoot digital design, scanning, printing, milling, and software-related issues
- Work with lab leadership and other departments to support smooth production flow
- Monitor department performance and help identify areas for improvement
- Assist with equipment, materials, and resource planning as needed
Qualifications
- 5–7 years of dental laboratory CAD/CAM experience preferred
- Strong experience with digital dental design workflows
- Proficiency with software and platforms such as 3Shape, Exocad, Meshmixer, desktop scanners, 3D printers, and/or CNC mills
- Prior experience supervising, training, or managing a team preferred
- Strong understanding of dental anatomy, occlusion, case design, and production standards
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and support digital production needs
- Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
- Ability to prioritize deadlines and manage workflow in a busy lab environment
- CDT certification is a plus but not required
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
